The oil heat system is not parasitic to the pressurized engine oil system which has many potential dangers.

Anyone have details on oil heat ? I have the second cooler mounted under gib seat. And plumbing to firewall. Heard something about a nipple into the oil pan only as high as 2 or 3 quarts. Prevents engine starving oil if a leak. But then you need a pump and a switch etc. I live in cold country near OSH. Info and or pics would be great ! Thanks ! Glenn N600EZ
