Marc.  You forgot to read the small print. "The specific chemical identity and exact percentages are a trade secret."

Don't freak out over "acid."  Phosphoric acid isn't like sulfuric acid.  It is gentle on human skin.  But it attacks iron like crazy.  In metal preps, petroleum jelly, WD-40, etc. its is very diluted.  If you were to use full strength, which we used to do all the time, don't leave your steel part you are de-rusting submerged too long... it will disappear!
