What is the trick to install a mechanical fuel pump?. I have lots of room since it is a Defiant engine mount. There is a pushrod in the accessory case driven by a cam. I rotated the crank so that the pushrod is at the upper end of its travel and it stays in that position. The lever of the fuel pump interferes with the pushrod. If I tilt the pump I cant start the bolts to thread. What am i missing?
