Rolling and tipping seems to be a great, clean and effective solution. It is used on the topsides (part above the water) on large yachts and from what I have seen equals spray-on is less expensive

Also at West Marine is their own brand "SeaGlossPro". This is what I used on my plane. It is cheaper than the Pettit brand, and the interesting thing is that is IDENTICAL to the Pettit paint!

If memory serves me correctly, Petit is a paint for those of the yachting persuasion. Try Jamestown distributors. I think that they are selling it for 98.71 per gallon
