Here's another idea that worked for me. As I said before I always just taxi my plane into the hanger (why doesn't everybody do that?) Up until 6 mo. ago I had a hanger partner with a Varieze. So....

I agree, it is a lousy place to tow from. I did, however, always pull straight in so there were never side loads; only a compression load of the force of two people pushing the

We were told no, no, and no by all shippers, then Randi carried it all protected in cardboard into our local postal substation where she knew the counter guy and he took it without any comment.

I made a simple rig that attaches to the wing tie-downs. I took a 2x4 that was as long as the distance from one tie-down to the other, with a rope and hook from each end of the 2x4 to each tie-down.

My hangar ramp has way too much of a drainage slope. I always roll it in and out with the nose lowered quite a bit. Rolling it out, backwards, when I go over the edge of my level hangar floor it
