Scott, If this is the accident I think it is, it happened a long time ago
and the pilot was Jeanna Yeager. She landed, I believe, on I-5 up north of
Sacramento. It probably was around the time

I have some headsets, Peltor but they are without jacks and I need

I am building a Berkut and we use 1/4 lift tabs and 3/8 inch bolts.
I have seen the 1/8 lift tabs on the Long and they look too thin for me.

So do I. The slurry is there to improve the bond between the glass lay up and the foam, using pure resin only, tends to add weight but more importantly the viscocity is lower so it can sometimes tend

I believe that this accident was a case of flutter of some out-of-balance
elevators. I don't think the tabs had anything to do with it. If the
flutter is severe, pieces come off.

saver in a worse case situation. If my tail is on
fire, frozen ailerons are my least worry at that

used a turnbuckle for tension. This made adding and releasing tension
as simple as 4 turns on, 4 turns off.
