I have the forflight on my iPad I think it is great easy to use and it works flawlessly. I cannot compare to wingx. I have never seen or used it.

Re: COZY: ForeFlight -vs- WingX
RJ,
Calling Hilton Software (developers of WingX) up and having a quick chat with them via their support team should do the trick. They have always been good to me.
Hope that helps.

Re: COZY: Ignition Noise - Lightspeed Plasma 3
Maybe try establishing a new ground on the metal case or maybe changing where the ground is terminated. A home run to the main ground terminal block (if you have one) might help. Install anything else

Ignition Noise - Lightspeed Plasma 3
I have one Plasma 3 on my O200 Vari. It has developed ignition noise.
I needed new spark plug wires anyway since it was unclear how long the old ones were on the plane. New wires. No change in

I went with WingX since they are open to working with other manufacturers accessories.
ForeFlight and garmin are very adverse to it.

Re: ForeFlight -vs- WingX
I used both on the free trial offered, then bought WingX and love it. But there isn't a nickels difference between the two as far as features go and it will boil down to which interface you like best.

ForeFlight -vs- WingX
Canardians,
Being newbs to both aps and I am sure each has it's strengths, from those that have both or given both a good try.... which do you find most useful and easiest to use while in flight?

I just installed a UAT antenna (small whip supplied by the manufacturer) in a similar place in another Cozy. We had to use that location to ensure adequate separation between the transponder antenna

Compact transponder antenna for under the skin.
I recently installed a SkyGuard UAT ADS-B transmitter in the back of my Cozy and have it working with the supplied foot long J-pole antenna suction cupped to the back cabin window.

Anyone look at HDPE? Cheaper that polycarbonate and less brittle than acrylic. I believe it has good scratch resistance.

Re: Hand Propping Ritual
It's been a long time since I had my Vari, N82VE. Two bendix mags and an O200 with a carburetor. I think I benefited from thinking about the fuel in the cylinders. It's only when a combustible mixture

Saro, friends,
The biggest starting problem with my 0-200 with two old impulse mags is FLOODING. "Priming" flips with ignition off increase the chances of this. Usually it's one throttle stroke,

Hand Propping Ritual
Hi Saro,
I've been hand propping my 0-320 Lycosaurus for a while now, it's not an 0200 though. After several years I think I have it figured out. I can talk about what works well for me if you like,
