Hey bob. Just to be clear, you are talking about mounting on the inside of the canopy not the outside with a suction cup mount, right??? I would never bet my life on a plastic suction cup. I've done

Vacuum Bag Setup (or what to do with that old compressor)
Last November my compressor suffered a complete meltdown.
I have since replaced it with a more substantial unit.
I was about to haul the old one out to the dumpster when I got an Idea to convert it to

Re: COZY: Re: Nord-Lock Washers for Prop Bolts?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe one "side" of the parts being secured with nordlocks needs to be fixed (ie the part being secured such as a brake caliper). Since you would be securing a washer

I don't know if comparing two manufacturers of props with similar specs is really appropriate
Better to compare what each manufacturer recommends for the engin/airframe combination

Loss = nada/nicht/zero/ix-nay preload. Had I used the term, "reduction", then yes, I would have been off-base. Lose preload, and Nord-Locks do nothing.

I use it all the time in the front canopy of our Berkut. It will stay stuck in place
for 2 months! Good view forward and the whole canard is in frame.

Re: Nord-Lock Washers for Prop Bolts?
Thanks Joe, that is a good point and something I did not consider. But after doing a little checking, what you said is not quite correct. Nord-Lock (NL) washers do not depend on "no loss of bolt

Here's one I posted before and showing the view it captures. I don't know what he used to attach to the canopy, velcro sponge pile with adhesive?

Re: GoPro mount
I used few times Ram suction I cup mount on the side of my canopy with my iPhone 6 Plus.
It worked fine on my CZ-IV. Of course you will have to find a place with least curve on your canopy.
