I lay a 2 X 6 up against the rim and drive a car up on it.
No arguemets so far !!!!!! 😄😄😄😄

I tired a number of different ways to get the pesky tire of the rim, but found simple and cheap to be the easies..…
A 2x4, and steel ring (slightly larger than the rim) and a bolt on the wall.

As often as not a tire will slide right off of a rim w/o undue effort.?? Flip side of that situation is that if a tire has been on the rim for a year or three, it can take some serious

Perhaps I should have ben more explicit.
To use a screwdriver you 'twist' the screwdriver about its long axis. A bit basic but there you are.
Do not use the screwdriver as a 'lever'.

Split or non split. Any difference?
Keep the wheel together break bead first then separate.
With single piece wheels after breaking the beads on both sides you need to stretch both beads over one
