I would say close enough. I just tried an experiment with the Pettit EZPoxy (#3175 White) on the nose access panel of my plane. I tried to do everything wrong. I did not use the low-nap roller

Re: EZ painting
Rolling and tipping might be OK for primer that is going to be sanded but you'll never get a high quality finish paint job as with a spray gun. Not even close.

Good call, Keith. If you take a closer look at the photo, you can see some damage on the side of the gap below the canopy like something lodged between. Right at the 1" mark.

Re: Canopy fram delamination
Just guessing but that is exactly the type failure you would get if FOD was lodged in between the canopy and the longeron and then the canopy closed tight.

I have misplaced my diagram, which is like everyone else's.
Please can someone send me a copy?
Thank you VERY much.

This video says it all as far as the technique.
I will probably do it myself, thanks.
Google wisely. I was able to find a video of a person of the British persuasion who, on video, rolled and tipped

Apply the paint with a roller, "tip" it with a brush. Lots of videos....

Jay, actually this 235 came out of a friend's purchased Long EZ with updraft cooling and I know exactly what you mean. The guy should have welded the fins on the sump. We replaced it with a fresh 290

Every bit helps, but this apparently is a tractor install. On our pushers (with updraft cooling) we benefit from having the sump exposed to incoming cold air.....

Re: Chrissy and Randy
Chrissy/Randi no need to justify your jambalaya? I’m a Louisiana native and love this batch. There is basic stuff as you did do the sausage but most other stuff in amounts an type are an option.

--------I noticed this budget oil cooler on a 235, fins tack welded onto the oil screen housing. I wonder if it helped cool the oil.
