Hi Rich
Thank you very much for your email.
I did think of that but I think the surgery
that I have in mind will work better.
I did a lot of "West System" micro

COZY: Engine cooling: CHT Measurement
I want to return to the subject of CHT measurement. This is normally done with thermocouples under the spark plugs, which I will call STs, or with bayonet thermocouples (BT's), which are screwed into

Re: Instrument Panel
The Windbug seems like an interesting product. However, for its $1k cost over the cost of a sunlight challenged iPad, I would agree that the G5 for not much more would give you equivalent or better

Re: modifing the upper surface between canopy lip and upper cowling
Bruce,
Another option is to do a little surgery and a little glassing
Depending on the misfit, you may be able to relieve the bottom ( where it mates with the lower cowl and achieve a better fit

Re: Slow Rolling a Canard
Barrel rolling a canard is probably the easiest maneuver you can do. Much easier than, say, doing a 360 and holding exact altitude. It takes about 4 seconds to complete using rudder also to speed up

Re: COZY: Instrument Panel
The real problem with this idea is that ground speed (from ipad, GPS, and such) is NOT airspeed. Airspeed is sort of important. Sometimes real important.
Altitude, depends on the type of flying.

I don’t know why opposing rudder would ever be considered. Coordinated rudder would be fine after you get the hang of doing rolls.
I suggest that your first roll…..of course after getting

Hi Mike and everyone
That is a very interesting production.
I certainly would consider it for another
(non-aviation) project that I have in mind.
I need to order some foam
But which kind is flexible
