Correction Got some questions on Long EZ controls

Mike Tooze

I've just been chatting to Chris Seats,

I would like to point out that there are bearing shops in the US that can supply PTFE lined bearings 3/4" I.D. that are fine for the control tube support. There are fanged ones available too.

See attached

You don't need to spend $50 each, these are around $2 each. These are steel, I found ally ones.

I hope this helps someone out. No need to spend an arm and a leg here.

Mike T V-E- bearing in for 40+yrs.

Hi Dave ,

You're nearly there,

Yes! Igus makes an excellent plastic bearing which is installed in my Cozy (and Burt’s Skigull). Get the Hi-tempersture version, there is less play in the system.

Everything I've found is metric. Tube is 3/4 inch OD. Do you have more info?
