Historic clip of an electric bus fire

Mike Tooze

Hi All,

Some time back one of our group posted a link to a clip showing the start and sudden spread of a fire when the batteries of an electric bus went critical.

If someone could please re-post that link to me I would be most grateful. (privately would be fine.)

This has, believe it or not, a connection to canards.

Many thanks in advance ,

Thanks Chris,

Just the shot I remember.

As a student I became a fan of trolley busses - as against these 'modern' battery powered fire bombs. Don't even imagine one packed with kids...

(Why they try to reinvent the wheel is a mystery to me! - Trolleys were safe, simple, low installation cost, low maintenance, low total life costs. )

So it's going into my biography which of course is packed with canard stuff.

How is progress on the Long?

Many thanks ,

Mike T
