My Cho is in my Longez. Xponder ant under pilots thigh support and Echo antenna under the back seat thigh support. I have had no problems!

On my VariEze, the Echo UAT antenna ground plane is installed in the hellhole, under the gear bow, with the TED ball-tip antenna protruding out through the fuselage just ahead of the cowl

I’m using the TED antennas with it sticking out about an inch. Using an aluminum 10 to 12 inch disk ground plane.

You need to be careful putting antennas in or around the spar box as there is a firewall and engine on the othe side. The firewall is a ground plane and will shield signals coming from, or going, aft

The echo GPS antenna has a magnetic base, so t put a small steel plate buy my right shoulder where shoulder harness attaches. Works great!

0320 10:1 running Rough
If the engine is running ROUGH it is not usually a vacuum leak at the carb seal. A vacuum leak tends add RPM to the engine and a slight leaning of fuel unless it is at one of the intake tube swedged

I didn't want to obscure or change anything of my existing instrument panel. (And absolutely not the idea of a loose iPad!)

Much will depend on how much space you have. I got lucky. Behind the iPad is my glove box. I mounted a hard shell case directly to the glove box door and I can still open the glove box.
