Wheel Pants

Installing a new set of wheel pants to my LongEz.
In setting them up I currently have about 1" inside from top of tire and about 1.5" from bottom to floor. Is this about the right amount of spacing?

I would move the wheel pants a little higher and make sure you have plenty of side clearance. When I changed to Goodyear tires, one of the screws that attaches the front part of the wheel to the rear part of the wheel pant, SCORED the tire!!!!!!
